That particular lie is so ludicrous that I wonder if WS has starting thinking about how to do damage control. I'd also like to see Claire show proof of when, where, and to whom counseling has been offerred. She won't be able to do this without the help of WS. If the People Magazine writer had taken the time, s/he could easily have written to WS headquarters for confirmation of Claire's statements.
Something else I'd like to see from Claire and WS International is documentation of TFI's apologies to its many victims. I'd like to see historical documentation that shows when, where, under what circumstances, to whom and by whom these official TFI apologies have been made. As far as the circumstances of the apology, that means telling us something about what the offense or reason was for the apology in the first place. When Mama Mosquito says, "Mistakes were made" - that tells us nothing about "What kind of mistakes? Who got hurt as a result? Who made these mistakes? When were they made? Why were these specific mistakes made?"
I'd like to hear Mama Mosquito and King Pooper tell us whether they're sorry those mistakes were made because TFI has to live with public reputation for being a chamber of horrors, or if they actually feel really, really bad that human beings were deeply hurt as a consequence of mistakes resulting from their actions and policies.
You see, the legitimacy that King Pooper so desperately needs in order to ensure TFI's survival as an "independent missionary organization" will continue to elude his grasp as long as WS leaders like Claire think that telling bold-faced lies will suffice for taking responsibility for the damage that has been done to so many human lives.
Daniel has said it so well: The only way TFI will survive under the mantle of "independent Christian missionaries" is if they come clean and make substantial amends to to the thousands of people hurt by their misguided social experiements in sexual liberation.
It's too bad TFI leadership gave up on understanding prophetic truths based in scripture, because they should seriously fear this admonition from the Book of Numbers: "The Lord is longsuffering and abundant in mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression; but He by no means clears the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation.'
TFI's survival as a Judeo-Christian religious movement is cursed by the transgressions of its founders. It is very painful to think about the ways in which the children of our children's children's children may continue to suffer if the criminal founders of TFI successfully pass the lies of their shameful legacy as "truth" to a third and fourth generation.
