David and Merry Lou, from what I understand, folded NLC when they split up. It's my understanding it had more to do with that then TF harassment. David Heibert would never back down from TF. He was one of the most courageous people, one of the first to speak up and tackle Berg on his doctrines, calling them what they were - and he did it publically and effectively.
The WS public apology that you speak of was not endorsed by David or Mary Lou - they saw it for what it was, a whole lot of excuses. I have their response to it somewhere.
