I wonder why we do have this as a response; animosity and aggression.
I do believe that assertiveness classes for ex-members would be a very valuable tool. Learning to assert ones self [or argument] in a manner that makes a point, rather than a wound would be much more helpful and being able to have disagreement without viewing it as a personal attack too, would be useful.
Also, allowing people to be wrong or make a mistake without them being 'bad', would be a step forward. People making mistakes are just that - people making mistakes; not wicked or bad people.
I'm not talking here about people who do bad things, just those who say the wrong thing, misunderstand or make other day to day mistakes......
