Bro, you are a gem. I hope whoever your wife is appreciates you. I also hope you will find some peace in your struggle to come to terms with the past. I think being honest about your pain will help get you to a place where it's easier to live with yourself and your memories.
After reading "Life with Grandpa" at xfamily, I've been thinking a lot about Family men who unselfishly committed themselves to raise the Jesus babies their wives brought home. Maybe Berg needed a stud service for Maria, but most husbands in TF didn't. It goes completely against a young man's biological wiring for another man to sleep with his wife. That jealousy and ego you were told to overcome is a very natural instinct designed to ensure survival of your genetic lineage. As long as we have bodies, we should honor that fact.
