A Georgetown man is out on bond after police say he chained and locked his 13-year-old son to a table.
He was released around 2:00 PM Thursday afternoon, after posting a $7500 surety bond.
Bruce Kriskovich had no comment.
The 49-year-old was arrested Wednesday night.
He's charged with reckless injury to a child, after Georgetown police say he disciplined his 13-year-old son by chaining his ankle to a metal table and padlocking the boy to it.
Police say Kriskovich confessed to locking up the 13-year-old Wednesday night when he went to work, so the boy would stay at home and read his bible.
After Kriskovich left around 8:00 AM the 13-year-old found a key and unlocked himself.
He then found a neighbor who saw the boy with a chain around his ankle and called 911.
Police say Child Protective Services took the 13-year-old boy, along with a 9-year-old and 15-year-old girls and placed them with a relative.
Police tell us Kriskovich is not to have any contact with his children until after the CPS investigation is complete.
If convicted he could face up to 2 years in jail.
