I find this stuff fascinating to read. Actually, another factor is that you're comparing exmembers to a 'normal' population. Considering the abnormal pressures and over one decade of victor camps & sexual abuse that happened in the Family, the fact that exmember suicide stats aren't higher is a testament to people's will to survive & buck the Family 'system'.
