You should probably refer to yourself as a Stats Geek instead of a Stats Nerd. A nerd is someone with low social skills but high intelligence, devoted to science or computers or the Internet. A geek is someone whose inordinate devotion to something (Star Trek or LOTR or things related to The Family) places him or her outside mainstream society.
In that light, we are ALL ex-Family Geeks.
