Ha! They (robins) sure can be scrappy come mating season.
National Geographic did a cover page with hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of dead birds that had been collected from around the bottom of some of those mirror glassed sky scrapers. Not only that, thousands and thousands and thousands of birds are killed each way along their migrations from flying into the buildings at night as well. Many birds migrate at night.
