In some ways this is true. But Jim insists on making it more than that. He says he is going to go away and concentrate on his part of the puzzle, and then he stays here and continues promoting his agenda, which involves shaming people who disagree with him.
He's not content to leave good enough alone. He has to be telling us why he is right and others are wrong.
By threatening to out people who post anonymously, he makes this board a very unsafe place. Who wants to publicly disagree with him if it means being outed?
It shuts down the conversation and makes people afraid to speak freely. It's intimidation, pure and simple. The message is "Don't mess with me, or you'll regret it."
