hmm...maybe. However, I wouldn't equate what Ricky's life was like with anybody else. No one had a whole book with details and explicit pictures about them published for the world to see, other than Ricky. No one grew up in the house of Berg and Zerby and had prophecies published that they were going to run the world after Berg was gone as an endtime prophet. No one but Rick had the eyes of every family member watching and waiting for him to be their leader. No one had their everyday life published in a Life with Grandpa series (other than Davida and Techi) so every one of their peers felt like they knew him or believed him to be special and gifted and expected it of him. You cannot equate the outpouring of sympathy for Rick as the same. I do feel for all the abused children in the world, and in TF, but Rick's was a very special case. It was like he took the brunt force of the steam roller of Berg's abuse first and it hit him hardest. He felt the sins of his mother on his shoulders. His life was much more complicated and intense than any others.
