Lets hope that this memorial was a "once in a lifetime" event. My vote is for you to do whatever you want, I don't see why you need the "masses" to confirm what you want to do. You already made it clear at the memorial for anyone not willing to be on camera to sit in the corner. Nobody did, so it seems to me that you can proceed with gods blessing on distributing it however you like.
