We're still lost in indecision. How to move half-way across the world to a city where we know no one? I am favoring Charlottesville, VA, as it has good schools and is a lovely little city. Nevertheless, we're open to anything.
A dear ex-member wrote from Texas and kindly offered help. It was very encouraging. Thank you.
Our difficulty is not so much a financial issue, although that is part of it, but it's just not knowing anything, having had no experience in the states, and not having anyone to stay with while looking for a house.
Maybe these will be typical problems of others who will be leaving. It is very daunting for me.
Thanks for your prayers and advice. I appreciate you and your much needed moral support.
