Since Jim's site has a thorough description of his projects, progress, and so on as well as a contact addy, why not go there and ask him directly?
I could suppose things to death and often have which does not surprize me after having come out of a cult.
It seems there is a direct source to any info sought and I guess that while I do understand the questions, I don't understand not asking the questions there, especially if he is not answering here anymore.
I can equally understand that he does not answer here anymore at the time. The good thing post cult is that we can choose to be involved in whatever we want to or not be involved when we don't want to. We can criticise if something comes across and feels harsh or if we are not sure of the purpose.
We can also pursue justice as individuals or pursue healing- maybe or maybe not the justice system is involved in that. We can join a concerted effort or abstain according to our best interest.
But at some point does it get futile to keep beating the drum here when the drum circle is somewhere else? These are just some thoughts from someone who has no authority here or anywhere else. Just a fellow survivor.
