Funny you say that you are not a spokesperson and that these things have been discussed elsewhere... What about people like me who do not read "elsewhere"? I had no idea that there is a potential for a book deal in the works, that taints my views and also makes me question myself. It is a matter of trust as far as I am concerned.
I don't distrust Jim's actions as they needed to be taken but things can be distorted when when there is the possibility of personal financial gain or the protectionof certain individuals or whatever else there may be.
Maybe you were not surprised, but I was taken aback by the writing thing. Being totally above board is important to build trust.
So Perry, what about applying for a job to coordinate all the boards? Or instead, you could write a summary of what has been said in all the abords at the end of the day. That way those of us with less time could just read your summaries and avoid asking the same questions or the same topics. You could do my thinking for me. Now that's an idea.
