I was there, along with my wife Jane and our son, Christian who was born in the COG.
I thought it went very well. The people who organized it did a superb job.
It was highly emotional at times, but at other times you really understood that it was a celebration of Ricky's life. A song by Metallica was played ("Unforgiven" by Rick's own request):

Others who have died were remembered as well. Names read and doves released in their memory.
There is more. I'm just getting home from San Diego.
