The Industrial Arts program of the CVC offers several different training electives such as building maintenance and repair, construction, carpentry, automobile and equipment repair, basic electronics, computer installation and maintenance, as well as driver's training. Students learning trades and skills not included in the current CVC program can apply for course recognition to their local CVC Instruction Coordinator.
The certificates available in the Industrial Arts department are:
1. Maintenance and Repair
2. Construction Skills
3. Mechanical Maintenance
4. Basic Electricity and Electronics
5. Family Driver

Home Economics
Training in general Home Economics provides students with the foundation needed for several areas of full-time Christian service. Students may specialize in various life science skills. Students have opportunity to gain mastery in many domestic and home-life skills, such as cooking, nutrition and meal planning, sewing and clothing care, interior decorating, home management, housekeeping and domestic services.
The certificates available in the Home Economics department are:

2. Cooking and Food Services
3. Domestic and Personal Services
4. Sewing and Needlework

Creative and Performing Arts
A multitude of learning opportunities are available to CVC students wishing to develop their creative, performing, musical and artistic abilities. Christian workers with these skills are always in high demand. Students in this program participate in live performances, and many have recording opportunities and occasions to work with talented artists, musicians and performers.
Specialty areas in which CVC provides creative and performing arts training opportunities include music, art, graphic design, acting, singing, dance and choreography, set design, costume design and costume making, and more.
