Christy did have her first child (who is, indeed, almost 18) when she was real young. I believe it was 14 or 15. She left the HCS around 1990 and the child was already few years old.
Let's say Christy was 15 when she had the child in 1987, that would make her around 33 now. That is around how old Christy is now (again +/- 1 or 2 years).
What I do not know is if the father is Sam Perfilio.
