My husband is an English teacher with years of ESL experience. I can home school or put the kids in school depending on the availability of good schools. I have a variety of experience as well, in teaching as well as managing our own business. I just put together a fairly good resume for myself, but I'm not sure about taking a full time job with my youngest child being 5 years old.

The biggest problem I see right now is where to land. I was thinking of around Charlottesville, VA, as there is a good university there, but the real estate is very expensive in that state, so we're pretty much open to anything. Being near a populated area seems wise as far as job opportunites, as well as opportunities for the kids. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

It seems a waste to rent when that money could be going into the house we would like to buy. Any thoughts on that?

Thank you very much for your advice. I appreciate it.
