But you're still missing the main point. Shulamite may be eccentric but she and her daughter are the victims. The Bergs (Mo, Maria, Faithy, Hosea) screwed over her daughter. They are the criminals.
You say you don't buy it when I say Shulamite has probably everything she could to help Mene and now she's at this state. It's your choice if you don't believe it, but you're judging Shulamite without knowing the facts.
I know Shulamite and can vouch for the fact that she genuinely loves her daughter.
