I understand where you are coming from. Yes, she will be hurt and maybe right now it is not a good idea. But to hide something like that is almost like destroying it when it is valuable to give an accurate image of what the family really is.
I love it when you say that some of the cousins may have since left the Family and apologized to Mene. You don't know it one way or another.
If Mene reads those, which she has already done, it may be yet new pain (may God damn those evil doers behind the original pain). But the fact that the cousins may or may not get hurt is irrelevant. If they wrote those things and are not in te family anymore they could also write an apology and explain about the coertion they suffered to write those things.
What is relevant and important is to expose the fact that the family has no love and concern for their own. This needs to be exposed in as many ways as possible.
