I'm glad to hear this. This is news for me and it's good news. I agree we don't want to be at cross-purposes with those who are in contact with Mene already. But like you say, Mene is not in good shape and she needs help. Is she still living on the streets even if she's in contact with her family?
I know her mother loves her but she alone can only do so much and there are probably expenses more than her family can handle. Can we not give toward this very worthy cause, if her family is open to receiving help and thinks it would be a good idea?
Can you give more information on Mene? Can you ask her mother to come to this board, or can you contact her and ask if you can pass along any kind of information?
I understand if her family wants their privacy in this matter, but the talk below of those who have done so much to expose the Family in the early days, reminded me that Mene literally burned out in this fight. She was once very public and frankly, after reading what James Penn wrote about how Mene suffered, Mene is part of all of our collective conscience.
But I will respect her family's wishes. Can you contact them? Can anyone?
