No. You DON'T have to "grovel for ALL the sins of the FGA's" as you put it, but if you have or had something to personally apologize to SGS for, then yes it's the right thing to apologize.
In the past MovingOn was more exclusively for SGs as they needed their space, and the boards even said up front that we were their invited guests. It behooves us as guests to not try to butt into their space, and yes, a few SGs were sometimes pointed in reminding FGs of that fact. But hey, it's their space.
But I fail to see why you needed to be so obnoxious in your post now. Now's the time to get together and do something to make a difference.
