Some SGs were seriously abused in unconscionable ways and some who left in the earliest days of the SG exodus had a bear of a time even surviving when they escaped on their own. Maybe some of those who can't relate to the anger had some parental support? Even moral support from a parent would have meant a heck of a lot to me.
