Interesting that you should make that connection about every spririt helper in town supposedly helping the Family and prophesying through them. Instead of saying,"We got more to do than sing when the ship is going down." the Family should be saying, "We got more to do than prophesy when the ship is going down."
It's a pretty sad commentary that when they're under attack in the media now, the best they can do is say that they're praying for "shadows" to attach themselves to their critics' heels, to make them sorry for exposing the Family.
I guess Willian Jennings Bryon and Grandmother and Ivan the Northman are all busy, so shadows will have to do.
