Below, Bill Dayo emphatically denies that Karen Zerby ever bought her parents anything, but the sad thing is that though he might possibly be telling the truth, his wife's extremely pro-Family letter posted on MyConclusion, absolutely shoots Bill's credibility to shreds?
How can you believe someone who out of one corner of their mouth denies receiving money from the Family, yet publishes a letter defending the Family, calls 15 years of sexual molestation a 'mistake' and blames Angela's tragic death on ex-members like us who supposedly stirred Ricky up to anger? It's obvious that Jeannie Zerby Dayo has totally bought into the Family PR propaganda without even bothering to check with the facts.
I'm following the very interesting discussion on MovingOn where it is claimed that the Zerbys paid hundreds of thousands of dollars in CASH for the retirement center. This is highly suspicious, & while I agree that we need to be careful in our speculation, it does look highly suspicious & I think we are right to be suspicious.
It would help if the Zerbys and Dayos were a little more forthcoming to the media & to us, but if everything has been above-board & they've received no huge gifts from Karen or from one of her secondary parties, then they have nothing to fear if people look into the finances & legal papers.
