Some of the new releases in our archive are true komix - cartoons. Others are scans of Mo Letters or other text intensive publications which include some graphics in the usual 2 column per page format. We've released these in low res .JPG format. Have you tried printing the JPG images and then having your OCR scanner read the printed pages? It might work, if the images are hi res enough. If you've tried that and it doesn't work, maybe I could prepare a zipped package of TIFF images for you.
