We've had waves of coordinated and sophisticated attacks. It's also clear The Family has tried lots of systematic probes for information. Sometimes it would really seem to indicate they are behind these, but it's hard to say if all the attacks were indeed originating from The Family. What is interesting is when these systematic probes by The Family coincide with increased hacking attempts.
Some attacks seem to be from spammer hackers who want to hijack our scripts for spamming. It's interesting to watch their attempts though, as they try to probe and guess what kind of software we are using. The strength of this site is that NOTHING is standard software, but all customized - so they can't obtain a copy and study it for weaknesses. We've had hackers using code assuming we use the usual standard web software, or try yo dupe us into downloading spyware.
