Yeah, it would be nice if someone kept electronic file copies of all newspaper articles as well as printouts. Keeping the links is not good enough as most papers do not archive stuff online indefinitely. And for older stuff you often need to pay to access it.
It's something someone can do from home. Download everything and keep electronic files on your own computer and hard copies -- printouts.
If someone else wanted to do something -- it would be to collect the email contact info of all reporters who have done pieces.
It would be nice to have such a list so that when anyone wants to get out some information to people in the media, there is a ready-made group of reporters. Then one email does it all.
Of course..... if it is public, then TF could use it.
Any ideas?
