Job 9:20 didn't mean you couldn't ask questions. It meant that you could give no excuse for a mistake. "If I justify myself mine own mouth shall condemn me." If you tried to explain why you'd done something that was "justifying" yourself and the comment you'd usually get was, "Brother, that sounds like a Job 9:20."
