Yes, I found that in the ML list after I posted my request. It doesn't matter much if the phrase "deceivers yet true" is there, as long as the essence of the message is the same. The trick is finding a suitable quotation that illustrates that TF teaches it is alright to deceive outsiders, break laws,etc. That letter is in Vol.15, which I don't have.
Jo suggested looking in "What's in a Name". I found that in the ML list under #143A - Vol.1 - Personal Visits Pt. 2 & 3 - Contend for the Faith and What's in a Name?. I don't have this volume either.
And there is also the comic, which shows that this doctrine was taught to the children as a survival tool, if I remember correctly. I don't have this either.
I seem to recall a discussion in either a book or article about this subject, but I've read so many of those recently that I can't recall where. That's also a source that may have what I'm looking for.
So if you or anyone else remembers or comes across anything on this I sure would appreciate the information.
