I was really touched to read, how much you were there to help Ricky.I would have rejoiced to hear, that the wounds were closing for him.I had no idea, that he refrained from posting at movingon in order to appear "friendly", to not jeopardise Techi's situation etc. very, very sad.I wanted to know as much as possible especially from him...for me he was the central figure in the efforts against TF....may be that burden was so heavy on him...he felt so responsible.I am touched by the very positive remarks from you & Anneke about his conduct.I like the pictures at the memorial site Jules set up...wonderful job.
The quote she used, stood out for me too, when I read his "testimony of living with those folks" over a year ago.I always wanted to write him about that, but procastinated...
In the past - in TF - we used to think, that he was so privileged & getting very well cared for...what a delusion,... uncertain he seemed, who really loved him.He wanted to be loved...that really stood out for me, what he said before ending his life.What a loss, but then, he started in his life with such heavy deficits - most adults in the assumption, them actually being "assets" - that he never made it, "break even"...& that was IMO mainly in the hands of his mother.
