Claire Borovik talks about apologies and reconciliation since 1986.
WHEN? WHERE?
They are used to vilifying their victims. In 1996, when Rick Dupuy committed suicide, they published a prophecy from the dead where he was called a scumbag. His family never got as much as an apology from TF and even an "apology" could not have been enough. Instead, they published something where HE was apologizing to David Berg in heaven and to TF. He has spent 4 years in Japan working directly under Smith and Smith and their associates.
That was *only* 4 years.
I wonder about Ricky, who had 25 years of that.
Yes, TWENTY-FIVE years of that madness, up close and personal.
They don't even have RESPECT for the dead. They cannot let them go and leave them in peace not even after they are dead. THAT has to be brought out. THAT, and more, is what Claire Borovik needs to be challenged on.
The thought of them doing that with Ricky now goes beyond any words that I can find, because there should be a limit to outrage, a limit to abuse, a limit to arrogance, a limit to torture. There is a human limit to all of what is humanly possible to bear.
Borovik talks about 1986 as some kind of a landmark date when "abuse" stopped. It is a fictional date.
HOW?
The Day of Reckoning was published in the mid 80's when Faithy went to Japan after having gone through the school of torture and humiliation at her father's place. The hysteria and reign of terror in Japan went on in the late 80's and continued in the 90's. These things are documented by people who lived through that and by their own publications.
People (adults and children/teens) were put through torture systems with no possible avenue for help and escape. It was physical, emotional, psychological, and in many cases sexual as well.
Anything to BREAK the person.
THEY created the Victor Programs and that literally murdered the souls of many who were put through it. Some of these people DID break and are living with the results. Some killed themselves, others have had numerous attempts. They never got restitution, reparation, even acknowledgment. It is as if what they are having to live with is the result of something that NEVER happened.
All they get is more lies and denial, alleged prophecies from Jesus and God and Berg that keep smearing them and blaming the victims, and, as a treat, Borovik's words, that keep adding more insult to untold injuries.
WHAT reconciliation? Does Claire Borovik have any shred of decency left in herself? Do her associates?
I don't have much faith left, certainly no illusions, as there is a level of exhaustion (Hope deferred makes the heart SICK, right?) that ultimately tends to wear out who is involved in trying to bring the truth out. I am worried about the well being of anyone involved in this fight. They are working against gravity in some ways.
The parallel made on a war on "terror" (as I read in the LA Times about Ricky's video) makes me so sick because it is extremely appropriate. It is the terror they created that is still hauting the lives of many.
I still have a glimmer of hope left for the possibility of The Family's own day of reckoning. It is all that is left in the ashes of destruction of the runaway world they have created.
