Yeah, this rush to judgement is pretty futile. We know that Angela was on the Board of Directors, and we can speculate that Zerby was probably contributing financially in some way to some aspect of her parents' lives. But we don't know much more than this.
Of course, jumping to conclusions is the only way some people get any exercise.
