This is amazing .I remember reading this but I also remember blocking out the sexual stuff because most of the content did not match the pictures.I also remember on many occasions being more disturbed that Davidito's every physical need was met and we didn't have the finacial means to meet our own children's needs. It was more like forget all the sexual stuff how can I too benifit from this and buy my son a new pair of shoes.
This tragedy is blowing a huge hole in their experiment. I thought after hearing Ricky left TF that atleast he's going to alright.He was the flagship the child molded in their image and likeness.This is the first time Karen's personal star is tarnished it's impossible to totally spin out of this. Ofcourse poor Ricky is most likely already speaking from beyond with great remorse and begging forgiveness for his wayward path but unless you are totally lobatamized(as some members are) how could you not see this as a real problem.
Now I don't expect much to happen. We have tsunamis and mudslides and a little story about a cult gone wrong may not make big news.I just wish soeone could step forward as a spoke person. Maybe Joseph as he is neutral in that he was never in the group so he has credibiliy and no family skeletons. We will never be unified ideologically but I am sure there is an essence of unity in our grief for this situaion and for all the kids we had. I've been out awhile and still there are many many good days but there are still those days where the effects of the abuse are still there.
I cannot stand back and let them blame Ricky's demise on disgruntled ex members.I was so pleased to see that someone found the GN from 1996 where Maria is chastising Ricky for his obvious complaint about his upbringing,way back then 4 years before he departed TF.I think the exmembers need a spoksperson too . What do you think?
