It is my sincerist hope that the deaths of Ricky Rodriguez and Angela Smith be investigated and treated as possible homicide. The reason I believe this is that the group, "The Family International" formerly known as "The Family", "The Family of Love", "The Children of God" and are also established as charities under a number of names under an umbrella org. called "Family Care Foundation" have been associated with crime in the past. Ricky himself was victim of publicised pedophilia. I left this group well before youth camps and combos were formed where underage youth were put on sexually sharing schedules. As well, the current leader of TFI and biological mother of Ricky teaches doctrines that are extremely abusive to youth such as the "LJR" loving jesus revolution, where youth and adult men are taught to visualize themselves with vaginas and masturbate to Jesus, making love to their "husband" Jesus. Ricky's mother and leader of TFI 'channels' Jesus and the perverted psychopathic pedophile, David Berg who incested his own children at least one of them prior to starting the Family, unbeknownst to original members. All I can say is that I am glad that I got out when I did. At the point I got out, Berg had a fascination with the "Godfather" type of emulation and The Family did avail themselves of assistance from organized crime. I have no proof of this, and it is only things I heard from first person alleged knowlege but I am personally certain it is true. For this reason, I hope his death and the death of the woman are treated as a possible homicide involving TFI. It should certainly be investigated because Ricky was a huge threat to TFI. Look under articles like "The Mene story" about Merry Berg, granddaughter of David Berg. (perhaps not exact title of the article). Ricky was called "davidito" in the family and he definitely abhored what happened to him and some of his siblings.
