Jo,
Links posted on movingon can be submitted by anyone, and the link to this woman's work was submitted to that site by an FG exmember.
This is a prime example of the reason behind the extreme frustration I feel regarding participating in ongoing discussions of this nature.
Almost three years ago, I wrote a long reply to some of the points this woman raised.

Jo, this is her own, and it seems also your own, OPINION. I personally do not share it. However, no one has the corner on truth or what is absolutely right or wrong. The issues regarding children raised in these groups ARE ONLY JUST BEING RESEARCHED NOW.
Even what is absolutely true for one person may be completely false for another. How can you say to excog that you think "[her] perspective is not helpful to anyone."? Her views are her OWN journey towards healing and recovery.
What is incredibly frustrating and offensive to me is that you continually persist on demanding that I (and apparently everyone else) accept your point of view as fact. You do not allow me the right to disagree, based on my own conclusions, research and reflections. I have explained my thoughts on these issues in great detail. Even when I have repeatedly told you that I respect your opinions and understand why you hold them, and have asked that we agree to disagee, you still continue to demand that I think the way you do. That is not helpful to anyone.
