We're all outsiders

Perry, you are not the only one who has come away from this with such views about religion and Christianity. Quite a few here feel the same, such as the Aussie sisters, Marina, etc. There are also Chrsitians who are quite ecclectic, and Christians who are very tolerant and understanding of non-Christian perspectives and who don't push to have you converted or "recover" your lost faith, etc - they respect your reasons, your journey and your experience.
The funny thing is that here you as a non-Christian express your feeling like an outsider because of the pre-dominant Christian posters, and Christians regularly express that they feel like they are outnumbered by un-Christian posters, and NOBODY seems to feel they have a place here.
Everyone is an outsider. One of the Aussie sisters said that recently. I know I speak for a lot of people here: I think we're all a collection of outsiders. Honestly, even I seriously feel like a 100% complete total outsider, and I helped found this site. (I disagree with so much of what is being shared here, but I'm just trying to provide a community space for us)
It's a silly joke and not really a funny matter at all, but I often say, "you know we're being fair and balanced when everybody hates us"
Nice quote from Groucho Marx, by the way. I'll remember that.
