we spiritual but not religious people are in the minority as ex-members in general, especially among American ex-members.
I want to encourage you though, letting you know that your participation is greatly appreciated and also in reminding you that the vast majority of online ex-members ONLY represent for the most part a kind of AMERICAN (born again evangelical) Christianity, to various degrees of zeal and fervor.
There are many ways to express Christianity and in the various non American flavors it is usually MUCH MORE laid back and worthy of its ecumenical meaning.
It takes patience to grow and learn. Some of us are and will always be outsiders, but rest assured that your participation is welcome.
That was one great expression, your reference to odor. Very visual and effective. Got a good laugh out of that one.
