BTW, couldn't they pick a more typical TF paterfamilias than that guy (you know, "I am here defending my poor wife and my son who has chosen this vocation too and my daughter who is not yet old enough to make her decision." Sounds like he hasn't been going for the gold, being fruitful and multiplying, or "sharing" much!
It sounds like some of the SG's criticisms and complaints about their experiences are having an effect, if nothing else on TF's discourse to the outer world. Note Cognomen's careful to say his daughter has not made her decision yet because she's not old enough. Of course, with TF child training, which as one letter recently confirmed is geared to make the kids "want" to "give their lives for Jesus" (and we all know how they envision that playing out), it's not like the kids will grow up in a moderate environment and then suddenly come of age and be presented with the choice. They will be trained as disciples and then to make a choice will have to leave behind all they have ever known and start from scratch out here, giving up the love and approval of their parents if the parents stay.
