It's definately a mess. I sat around for about two weeks trying to figure it out before I jumped into the fray.
Usually, when someone starts with a name, it means they are talking TO that person:
Indian Joe: talk talk talk...
At the end, they usually sign their name, or have an IP address. Sometimes people forget to sign the post, which makes it even more confusing.
It's pretty awful, but it's what they have to work with.
One way to make it a bit easier is to read the "History". It shows what has changed and who changed it. It also puts the statement in a box, which I find easier to follow than just looking at those random paragraphs.
What makes it interesting is that it is happening on neutral territory. This isn't an ex-member or Family site. It's really a war of wills. Either the editors involved will have to agree on some issues, or they will just keep changing whatever the other writes until someone just quits. Wikipedia represents the anarchy that is the Internet at its finest.
