My mother came from Cincinnati, Ohio Her church First Christian Assemblies of God was somehow involved before she left although It was before I was Born and I can't be certain.She left the soul clinic for a weekend in Corpus Christi in May of 1971 and to my knowledge never returned.She met my Father in June of that year on a Friday He proposed on Sunday and they were married the following Saturday.I never understood this until now. Back then she had long blond hair and worked in the Kitchen at the clinic she used to brag about cooking for hundreds of people.The girl she went to corpus Christi with was named Jo Anne at least that was her real name her COG name I don't know.She told me the story of Abner and his death when I was very young.I know he is burried there at the ranch. I didn't know Berg Took his wife afterword though.She also knew someone ther who was a physician although that doesn't really narrow it down. Her maiden name was Moore.Hope this helps jog your memory.
