First, I am really touched by the fact, that you really cared to remember the carol...(I wished, I'd remember better the songs I was fond of too)...I liked, how you went about searching for it...now I wonder, how you found it??!!
Then I like the idea, that it's a carol I have apparently never heard, plus Australia is pretty far from Bethlehem ; ) so I am fond of the thought,how "it" touched people there too...
Totally surprised I am about your upbringing & that is really special, that you shared that detail...well, there was probably some reason all behind it.In my case, we hardly went to church, but very much on Christmas...at least when we were young.
God was something super private for my parents...
