Trivialities??? Did you scroll down the board just a page or so? Did you notice some of the titles of posts? Subjects covered in recent discussions include suicides, torture, rape, and kidnapping.
Many of us, I'd guess, are trying to restore balance to our lives after a fairly tumultuous cultic life. Imo, a bit of trivialness is important to that goal. A bit of trivialness I've engaged in recently is watching the so-called reality tv show, The Real Gilligan's Island. It's completely inane and I love it! If I tried real hard, maybe I could analyse my enjoyment of this program and discover that what I'm doing is connecting to my pre-cult childhood when I used to watch the original show. But I'm not going to do that. I'm just going to enjoy enjoying this sublimely ridiculous show. Sorry if I'm being too trivial for you.
Btw, if you want something to happen, make it happen.
