Thanks for posting those, susie.
I was in Sydney when Gideon suicided. I remember how broken he was just before then. We (Marianne and I) were living in Manly at the time and had had him over for dinner some weeks before. He was such an emotional mess from all that had happened. All he wanted was some acceptance and understanding. It was those events that started me down the road out of TF really. Seeing how TF treated him was very eye-opening. I never swallowed the line that 'the Lord took him because his work here was done' or whatever they tried to justify it with. Yet to the general rank and file, it was pretty much hushed up. Although I did not have a lot to do with him directly, I loved him as a brother, and loved his songwriting ability (even though many of them were Family oriented, they were truely beautiful works) His songs on the tapes were always my favourites. Its odd how those sort of memories stick with you....
Anyway, enough rambling...
He and the many others like him should not be forgotten!
