i had left TF long before Pete AKA Barry abducted Steven. I was only in TF for less than 2 years. We were still living together because Pete had begged me not to leave - he said he would die if i took Steve away from him. How stupid was I? i felt sorry for him and the thought of taking a child from its parent was the worse thing anyone could do. We lived like enemies for 6 months (thats how long it took to forge passports, hide clothing and supplies in an airport locker). but the very night before he took off with my son, he held my hands and looked into my eyes and said we were doing the right thing by Steven for staying together, and he would never ever take steven away from me.
He abducted steven the very next day. Liar!
