The soap opera you refer to will likely recede to the shadows soon enough, although another is just as likely to take its place. [I recently got hooked on the British soap, Cornation Street, so I see the voyeuristic appeal of soap operas, but there's a time and place.] One suggestion, if you are going to talk about your personal experience, is to try posting this topic on Journeys.
There is less posting and dialogue over there, at least for the moment, [I don't know if that means less traffic,people might just read but not post] so your post won't get so quickly buried. And because it won't get buried so quickly you might find your post attracting more responses. And personally, I feel a bit "safer" posting on that board as conversations there seem to me to be more rational and less confrontational. Anyway, just a suggestion.
