By "e-mail" I'm assuming, perhaps incorrectly, that you are referring to the e-mail contained in her original "Goodbye" letter. Is that correct?
Are you saying that you were the one who encouraged Achieck to write her original 'Goodbye' letter containing the e-mail, or are you saying that you encouraged her to write the second, follow-up letter?
I think you have good motives and really mean well, and you are right that it would have been good had Carol simply apologized for the 'therapist' comment, or at least explained that she hadn't mean to offend, etc. but whether she ever will or not is not in WC's or my hands, as he explaiend.
But despite your very good intentions, which I do not for one second doubt, there actually is more to the picture.
