My response was not about the e-mail that circulated or that post. I am one who encouraged Acheick to write something in her own words about her leaving this board- without that e-mail. The letter she wrote did not contain the e-mail. It did not go into any specifics and I can't understand how it would hurt anyone or break confidentiality. She was invited to respond for HERSELF a number of times, by coordinators, and she did, without the e-mail. I do understand your reservations about posting the e-mail. Her recent post, I thought, left her the ability for closure (not a Family buzzword!) since she has worked here for so long. I would not have responded further to this whole issue but then you wrote this post to farmer talking about "discernment" and his mention of my post. I don't even know Farmer and have never e-mailed him or her. It is true that I don't know anything that goes on around the coordinators here. Perhaps that is why I don't see Acheick's post as a threat of any kind to this site. (Talking about her last post she wrote from her own perspective without the e-mail). It would seem that her last one would be safe for you to allow because I can't see how it a threat of any sort. It seems the only people that would feel that would be the people that are coordinators and know whatever is confidential and threatening about it.
I made further comments as well when someone anonymous mentioned who was posting regarding Acheick, and wanted to be clear that it wasn't a battle about Christianity vs. Agnosticism. It is not.
I am agnostic, have had rows with Acheick at many times and I don't share most of her views or values. So Farmer brings up my name and uses a word that triggers you and you post with the emphasis on the trigger word. I don't get it.
