Yes, it is interesting and your analogy about watching firemen in action is funny, though true. The thing that is maddening right now is that WC and I keep stressing the need for confidentiality and many posters (understandably, given coming out of the cult) think, "confidentiality? You mean secret and to them that smacks of something wrong.
When the truth is there are things that the coordinators agreed should not be said because they give the cult information. I'd love to give you some examples, but alas....
I imagine many lines of work out in the real world have confidentiality agreements. I even knew guys once in a lumberyard who hd to be careful about not giving the lumber-grading codes to their competition. And I'm sure in the media and many other businesses there are implicit confidentiality agreements.
I realize this is a difficult concept for ex-members of a cult to grasp, unless they are in a line of work now in the real world where it's part of the work ethics.
