No it's not bad manners, my friend. It's a matter of trying to keep things honest and open. As an exmember of the Family I am just trying my best to be open and honest about how I lived my life and how I currently live my life. Participating in these boards is not being a third party, it's being an active party. If it means calling a spade a spade, then so be it.
I appreciate all that the coordinators of these boards are trying to accomplish, but the thing to consider is that they also (for the most part) are exmembers of the Family. They are also going through the process of leaving the Family same as all of us. Sometimes it's important to have discussions about how and why we do what we do. Maybe it will be helpful to learn that some actions still stem from old Family trained methods. It's frequently an unconscious thing, acting a certain way or talking a certain way. I feel it's important to learn how to deal with controversy in a normal fashion, talking, debating and not necessarily always deleting.
